Who cares what society thinks, for heaven's sake?! The only opinions that matter here are yours, his and your children's and you have approval in all those.
Besides anyone who would criticize you for finding happiness with such a nice man must be a jealous, hateful monster. I would bet even your husband's parents would approve.
Bless you all and good luck in your future together.

You're not doing anything wrong, as long as you two never had anything illicit, even at just the interest level, while your husband was alive and well. Could that be where your guilt is coming from? But even if interest started building while your husband was very sick and dying, it's fine. It's not like you wished him death. If you guys started romantic interest when your husband was terminal or had passed away, go for it. Friends make the best partners.

It is truly ok. Maybe your husband is looking down upon you and he is sending his best friend to you, to comfort you and keep you safe. Everything that is happening in your life right now is suppose to be happening. Enjoy it and move forward in your life. You will never forget your husband and all the wonderful memories you shared. Good luck to you and I am very sorry for your loss. P.S. If you always wonder what society thinks, you may have a very boring journey through life. Just Live.

As long is its nothing like the movie "Ghost", That was creepy...But this is a new beginning...it being your husbands best friend for some reason isn't all that surprising nor suspect due to the circumstances resulting from his battle with cancer..good luck and blessings.

YES IT'S OKAY. WHO THE HELL CARES WHAT SOCIETY THINKS!!!! GIRL YOU STOOD BY YOUR HUSBAND, HE PASSED AWAY, YOUR CHILDREN ARE FINE WITH IT AND THEY ARE ALL THAT MATTER NOW. IF THEY'RE OKAY, YOU'RE OKAY. GO FOR IT. THIS IS A SECOND CHANCE FOR YOUR FAMILY, DON'T LET SNOOTY PEOPLE BRING YOU DOWN.
SOCIETY FROWNS ON MOST THINGS, BUT DEEP DOWN LOTS OF THEM ARE DOING SH*T THEY SHOULDN'T TOO, WE JUST DON'T KNOW IT. I HAPPY FOR YOU, GO FOR IT. IT'S NOT CREEPY AT ALL. EVEN IF IT WAS HIS BROTHER, IT'S OKAY.
THE THING IS NOTHING WAS GOING ON WHILE YOUR HUSBAND WAS ALIVE RIGHT? IF THIS IS TRUE, THEN YOU'RE DOING NOTHING WRONG. HIS BEST FRIEND WAS THERE FOR YOU AND YOUR FAMILY IN YOUR TIME OF NEED AND YOUR HEARTS COMFORTED EACH OTHER AND NOW THEY WANT TO BE TOGETHER. AWESOME.
NOT EVEYONE IS SO LUCKY TO FIND LOVE TWICE. SO YOU TAKE CARE OF YOUR FAMILY AND YOUR NEW MAN, BE HAPPY AND DON'T WORRY ABOUT STUPID CRAP.

It's fine. And it's nice to date someone that you are comfortable with. Ask yourself, would you approve if your husband had survived your death and wanted to date one of your best friends? Dont' worry about society, just enjoy your life while you can.

Good for you. Obviously, he cares for you and during this time, you needed/need his support.
Be careful though -- have you heard of a rebound relationship?
Society really doesn't give a sh*t. What is society doing for you? This man is doing something for you.
This is what happened during biblical times, except it was the brother, not the best friend.

you're not any more doing some thing incorrect, see you later as you 2 never had some thing illicit, even at merely the interest element, at the same time as your husband replaced into alive and properly. ought to that be the position your guilt is coming from? yet no matter if interest began progression at the same time as your husband replaced into very ill and shortage of life, it really is wonderful. it really is unlike you wanted him death. in case you adult men began romantic interest at the same time as your husband replaced into terminal or had handed on to the great beyond, bypass for it. friends take advantage appropriate companions.

I think its would be a good idea to date ur deceased husbands bestfriend... if it was your husbands best friend, you would think your husband would rather you be with someone he loved, and trusted rather than just anyone. You hsould do what your heart feels not what "society" thinks

I fink this question is best thrown to your family i.e.your parents and siblings, coz they'll most likely be around to support you if you take the wrong decision. I wish you good luck tho.
