yes you can go back, but it wouldn't make any sense too,the previous owner wanted the engine to last, that's why he or she used the synthetic, true it cost a lot, but it does help lubricate your engine better, and you can go up to 8 thousand miles on one change,so in the long run it proves to be cheaper to use, than regular oil,no it wont hurt your seals if you do decide to go back, but think it over ,because i use synthetic, and have never had any problems with it.

Yes you can...don't let anybody give you any B.S that you can't.... you don't need a syn blend either. DO NOT FLUSH THE ENGINE..... with the synthetic, its spotless anyway.... if you can find pennzoil platinum, its been shown to be a great synthetic, and its usually at a lower price then the others.

Yes, but why would you want to? Oil changes are less frequent and it helps your engine last longer.
But if you want to downgrade, they make products that flush old engine oil out. Then just refill with regular oil. After about 3 days change the oil again. You'll be all set.

If it's a high mileage car I recommend a blend which is half synthetic and half regular; especially if the vehicle runs at high RPM's alot.
