I think i'm pregnant, but when i took a pregnancy test last friday (june 9th) it came out negative. My last period was on May 12 and it was due back on June 9th, now it is june 14th and i still haven't felt any signs of my period wanting to come. I have had a few symptoms like headaches, feeling exhausted, missed period, very little constipation, about 2 weeks ago i had pinkish-brownish discharge and abdominal cramping and now today i feel nausea. the main symptom that everybody warns me about is the tender boobs, but i do not have that! I checked on the pregnancy calendar to see what week i would be in if i was indeed pregnant and it said 4 weeks. Is it normal that i just starting feeling nausea now? What else comes with 4 weeks pregnant and do the symptoms sound like i'm pregnant?Serious answers only please! (responses from experienced one would be a PLUS ++) Thanks!

It is like that your pregnant. Not all tests are reliable. Your best bet is to go to the doctor's office and have a real test done-urine or blood.

The same thing happened to my best friend. She kept having all these symptoms and took like 2 different home pregnancy tests. So finally, out of frustration, she caved in and went to the clinic. The first test was negative. A week later, she ended up going to the ER because she was vomiting so bad. They did a blood test and confirmed that she was indeed pregnant.

Some tests don't detect pregnancy right off hand and others are very sensitive.

You'll be better of going to the professionals.

Good luck and congratulations that is if this is what you want.

Where to start....some women don't register on home pregnancy test. The discharge that you had 2 weeks ago could have been implantation bleeding, which would mean the hormones might not be as strong right now to pick up on a test. So, it might take a little longer for you to get a positive on a test. You can start to feel nausea at any point, some women get it as early as the first week. Not all women get tender breasts, so you might be lucky. My advice is to retest again this Friday and if you still haven't started and you get a neg. result, then definately see a doctor. Best wishes to you!

You should buy an EPT pregnancy test. It is the same test they use in the doctor's office. I used it between 4-5 weeks and it came back positive. I had alot of nausea, cramping, and lower abdominal pain. You should try an EPT and then go to the doctor. It does sound like you could be. I never experienced the tender boobs either. I felt exhausted, sick, nausea, and cramping. Good luck to you, I hope all works out!

At only four weeks pregnant, most at home pregnancy tests will not pick up the pregnancy hormone, your best bet is to visit your doctor. Also stress can make you miss a period and once you miss your period you start have a psychosymatic reaction which means that you might be feeling your normal everyday things but since you have missed your period you might think that those are things associated with pregnancy. Like I said before, your best bet is to see your doctor.

Nausea can happen at any time.....from the day after conception. And some women never experience nausea. Swollen tender breasts is one symptom I would think you would be experiencing at 4 weeks. But if I was you I would take another home pregnancy test....and if it comes up negative and your period still doesn't come.....you need to go see your dr.

Every womans pregnancy is not the same. I was very fortunate that I didn't have any morning sicknessm or sore boobs. I just had a missed period. If your home pregnancy test came out negative, the best thing you can do is to go to your doctor and have blood work done to detect the pregnancy hormone.

I think u should take another preg. test-First Response or EPT, those are the best for early detection of preg. If u are pregnant then it will definite show up.
As far as the nausea, sometimes ur body will respond to ur thinking. I know that sounds crazy but it has happened to me and also my neice. If u want to know for sure, go to ur doctor. U may have a cyst on ur ovary or too much stress in ur life, that can cause a missed or late period too.

I hope this helps,
NANNY

you know to be honest I just had the same symptoms and I went to my OB/GYN and my diagnosis was STRESS.......from the looks of it you are seriously stressing and that can cause all these symptoms to appear. Keep in mind that the MIND is a very powerful weapon. You body can literally start to act like your pregnant simply because you are thinking about it. Just calm down, take a breather, go see your OB/GYN to either confirm or deny a pregnancy. I'm telling you your mind can wreak havoc on your reproductive system when you start stressing about things.

Either way hope everything works out for the best.

Take another test. Some of them are wrong and maybe when you took the other one it was too soon. Your symptoms sound like pregnancy but I've had those symptoms too when I wasn't. If your nervous or scared about being pregnant you can actually create the symptoms.
