I am an alternative medicinal therapist and an ex nurse. I once had this problem and it turned out to be a bad tooth. I also have had one or two patients with the same thing, it maybe that you have sinus problems. It sometimes goes away on it's own. I suggest you see your Dr who may refer you an ear, nose and throat specialist, or check with your dentist.

Well, local drinking water does have chlorine bleach in it. Do you live by a swimming pool? It could be the source.

ummm my uncle said that when your nose hair gets too long smells get trapped so you can smell things for a long time and so maybe you need to trim those hairs:)

did you just recently have allergies? if yes, some mucus may have gotten stuck in your nasal passages and that gives off that "effect" -- that has happened to me. i know it's gross... try putting up an humidification system in your room. this will humidify your nasa passages and makes it easier to expel them
