At every comics shop nowadays...you can find a magazine named Wizard magazine...
Buy it and look inside it until you find convention dates.
depending on what state you are in you can usually find a convention in your state or in an adjoining state. At the convention you can usually find vendors with dollar boxes (Meaning any comic in the box for a dollar). ..fifty cent boxes and quarter boxes...especially on the last day of the convention and towards the close of the show. You can always ask them up front how many comics you need to buy to get them at twenty five cents a pop. I know because I am a comic vendor. Peace and good luck.
