There's an article in the Daily News by David McGire that is titled "Bush officials would avoid regulating the Internet" Go to ask jeeves or google and ask your question you will get lots of links. I don't want to take the opportunity away from you and write them all here. PS..... I just love all you bush haters who have the same old negative answers without even doing any looking into the facts. And that includes any topic concerning our president. It's getting soooo old and soooo boring lol

Bush's view on regulation of the Internet is like everything else he has done since being selected by a supreme court his father packed with life long members. He wants corporate America to control, monitor, and limit the information received by the American public, in addition they can charge us exorbitant prices for the privilege. Did you not read the patriot act. Have you not heard he called all of America, it territories a battle field? Bet you did not realize you live in a declared war zone. Did you not realize he has signed 750 signing statements declaring he was not going to follow certain laws, lets see the one that sticks out in my mind the most is McCain's anti torture bill. Then there is the wire tapping he has engaged in that violates the laws that established the NSA, which was designed to prevent the spying on American citizens. You would have to be living in a cave not to realize that the Internet is the one point of entry that they cannot control content or access to such content.

He is for providing filters on public computers to prevent children from viewing inapproriate sites, and for providing better filters for parents to use. As far as regulating internet content, he hasn't said much. All I found was a statement that privacy should be protected over the internet.

Bush cannot regulate the Internet as this would constitute an act of infringement on it's inventor, Al Gore.

Since it is distributed worldwide it is hard to regulate. Gore had little if anything to do with creating the Internet. It was started by the military organization known as DARPA.

He's mostly interested on spying on us but if he can regulate the Internet to make more money for the richest Americans while screwing the rest of us he'll do it.

The specifics might be difficult to find, and he might not have been directly asked. The following link will give you an idea or two how he views technology issues. I hope it helps.
