Have it appraised first and foremost. Take it to a local coin dealer (yellow pages or on-line search) and ask their opinion. Then I agree, sell on EBay but you will know your reserve.

I'm not selling mine, as silver is too cheap to bother doing so. You could sell on eBay or at a pawn shop, but it is not worth it to do so.
