Baby oil. I SWEAR BY IT! It's gentle, won't hurt, and easy to wash off. Removes the mascara in seconds! I use Johnsons and Johnsons baby oil. It does not hurt my eyes, and YES I wear contacts too! (There have been a few times I've had to clean my lenses and put them back in, but hey! who hasn't?) I have sold Avon for years and will never use eye makeup remover!

oil free eye makeup remover is best- especially if you wear contacts. It's a gentle way to remove the mascara without pulling on the skin around your eyes too much. Think of the skin around your eyes like a rubberband... it starts out tight, but the more you pull on it and use it the more stretched out it becomes.

eye makeup remover is the only way to go. Definitely don't use moisturizer or lotions of any sort. The chemicals and fragrances could really hurt your eyes.

Hun, get yourself a bottle of eye make-up remover.... that's what it's made for. Never ever EVER use Vaseline or anything that isn't made specifically for your eyes. Find someone who has accidently gotten Vaseline or something similar lodged on their eyeball if you need proof. And if you wear contact lenses, opt for an oil-free eye make-up remover.

Make up remover w/ a cotton ball. They make it for that specific reason. Baby oil on a cotton ball also does the trick. Just don't use too much...

You can buy make-up remover pads at the drugstore. They are saturated with oils that safely and quickly remove mascara and other make-up. Avon sells them also.
