Don’t listen to any of theses people telling you it can kill them because they are no different then a dog or cat. You buy rabbit shampoo or simply use a baby shampoo and baby conditioner, tear free so you don’t hurt their eyes. You stick him or her in the kitchen sink; its smaller so he or she cant move around so much, then you wash away just like you would your own hair, and always remember to use conditioner after it makes then soft and smell really good.

While rabbits in general have good cleaning habbits and are clean animals, they may occassionally need a bath. They are not necessary unless your rabbit is soiled or if your vet reccomended it for some other reason. There are several ways to bathe rabbits; here are a few:

First, set up your supplies. Next, get your rabbit. (This step is probably the most important!) You may want to clip your rabbit's claws first so that he doesn't scratch you. Use rabbit shampoo or a few drops of baby shampoo. Rub it into the fur. Pour water gently over the rabbit (avoid getting it in the ears). Rinse her until all of the shampoo is out. Rub the rabbit with a towel to get him dry. You can use a hair drier as long as you keep it on the lowest setting.

Rinsing the rabbit thoroughly is a very important step in cleaning a rabbit. If soap sits on the skin or coat, it may cause irritation and possibly kill the rabbit. You must also rinse to make sure that residue gets out.

Another method to bathe a rabbit is to use baby wipes or oatmeal wipes. Just wipe off the bunny!

Dry shampoo also works well. If Bunny licks it off of himself, he won't get sick!

Don't wash your rabbit with shampoo. Anyone telling you to wash your rabbit with shampoo doesn't know much about rabbits. Most pet stores know very little about rabbits also. It won't kill them unless they contract pneumonia from it, but never-the-less, washing your rabbit is not good for it. If you want to work on the rabbit's fur here are some tips:

Place the rabbit on a carpet pad and brush out the loose fur by running slightly wet hands over the fur. The loose hair will stick to your hands and the carpet pad. Rub your hands together over a waste basket to remove the fur from your hands. Brush for about 3 minutes.

To remove a stain in the rabbit's fur, rub the stained area with a lightly damp rag soaked in white vinegar, then with a lightly damp rag soaked in water, then dry. Repeat the process until the stain is removed.

Have been raising and showing rabbits professionally on a national level for 24 years. I've explained the process in a little more detail on some other answers. This is the abbreviated version. Feel free to ask me other rabbit questions if you have them.

Don't wash your rabbit. Instead use a brush and just brush its fur. Rabbits don't like water. It wont kill your rabbit but they are like cats and pretty much keep them self clean. If your rabbit is really dirty so much that it is noticeable, you need to do something about the living quarters. Make sure it has a clean litter box (if inside) if it is outside check and see if it has diarrhea. If that is the case limit the amount of treats your giving it and the problem should clear up in a few days. It is very important that your rabbit always has fresh water.

Don't wash your rabbit with water and shampoo. This is never good. Rabbits clean themselves and stay pretty clean. If you do need to wash your rabbit for whatever reason, try using a slightly damp washcloth.

You never wash a rabbit with shampoo, they can pretty much groom themselves, if they do need cleaning use a damp rag. I have two, by the way.
