why do pit bulls like to intimidate people?

It is how the dog is raised by the owner. Not all pit bulls act the same. Like I said depends on how the dog was raised. If you raise it to be mean the dog will be mean. And That is said about any dog not just pit bulls. I had a pit bull that took care of sick kittens just to show you that they are not all bad dogs.

They were originally bred to be fighting dogs. After years of breeding the best of the fighters, the ones that are now pets still have many of those aggressive genes. There are good pit bulls, but unfortunately, you are never sure what you are getting when you do get one.

it isn't that they like too intimidate people so much as that was what they were bread for. If you do a little reasearch on the origin of the breed, i believe they were bred as guard dogs for kings and queens because of their large, intimidating features.

Or, if a close relative of the dog was a fighting dog, meaning used in fights against other dogs, those traits can often be carried down through generations of puppies.

How do you know they like it? I would think it's their owners who like it, what does the dog get out of it?
I have a pit bull and she is such a big baby but still some people just see a big red sign flashing that says "run away" lol
