I am currently running Windows 98 SE with internet Explorer 6.0. I bought a new computer and would like to transfer my Favorites folder into my new computer running Windows XP Media Center. Is there a way to copy the file from my old and install it in my new computer?

S of course!! XP offers u a wonderful option called
"FILE AND SETTINGS TRANSFER WIZARD"
it is located in
Start-->All Programs-->Accessories-->System Tools-->File And Settings Transfer wizard(5th menu)
From there Follow the instructions and voila! your 98 files converted to XP !!!
