You can rent a computer from places such as Colorama, RentWay, etc. The average amount is about $30 per week with the option to buy.

Many Furniture Rental stores will also rent such devices as DVD players, TVs, Video Game Consoles and Computers, but the cost of renting (even rent to own) far exceeds the cost to purchase (often by as much as five times the cost as buying the same thing new at a store). Using rental stores only make sense when you are going to need the item being rented for a short period of time (such as moving to another city for three months to do a contract job and then leaving again).

If you're talking about a consumer PC, I wouldn't bother to rent, just buy. But if you're talking about a specialty computer for something like say, video editing, then that might be a good option. You just have to weigh out your options. I'm not sure if B&H rents computer equipment, but I do know they have a used equipment program. Also, look up "computer rent" in Google, but you'll have to do a lot of research to get a good deal.

Try easyhome. Will cost anywhere from $16-$35 a month depending on the comp u want and u can also alter ur payments to suit u best, weekly,bi weekly, monthly. You also have option to buy which i dont recommend as the reason these places rent comps is because they are running on older OS ..98 mostly.

I'm not sure you can rent a single computer. I think you rent for a whole company. But maybe you can. These people have a location in Elmsford, NY: http://www.rushcomputer.com

See if you can find one of those Rent Way or Rent-a-Center places. They usually have computers to rent. Can be pricey though, around thirty dollars a week.

Check with RentaCenter.
After that, take a look at the computer prices for BUYING. WalMart is awsome. Costco is awesome. You will probably find that RENTING is much more expensive then buying.
