My husband and i are married for one year, he is french and living here a little over one year. We have known each other for 4 years and are now separated for a little over 2 months. Adjusting to a new culture and new marriage with kids that arent his has beeen very stressful for both of us, but after separating with no contact for 2 weeks we felt it better to at least try and reunited. its now been 2 months and we are doing very well how much time would you allow?

I think the time situation is up to you both however if things are going well maybe start having him stay with you and the kids a couple nights a week and see how that goes

he needs to stand up and be a husband and live with u and work things out together. Married couples should not live apart. Remember your vowles you both said when u got married. If hes not willing to do that then get rid of him.And He new what all he was taking on marring you, the kids, ect, he needs to stand up and be a husband.

you said its been two months and you are doing well, i don't see a problem. i think marriage is hardest in the first year or so after that each person is used to the other persons quirks.

marriage takes adjustments and patients.
