What you need is a document called a "tax map". These are maps, usually drawn by county governments, that delineate each taxable real property in the county. They show the exact location of your property, with property boundaries drawn, and may show the length of each boundary and the size of the lot as well.
The general system for coding a taxable property is district, section, block and lot, called a "tax map number". Once you know that information, or whatever is applicable to your area, you can get the map you need and look up your house.
There are different ways to get this document, depending on where you live. If you have a the deed/title documents for your house handy, the tax map number should be in there, as it uniquely identifies your house.
Alternatively, you can go to your county's website and see if they have tax map information available online - counties with modern GIS (geographical information systems) software often do. If not, you can call the government offices in your area where deeds of real property sale are filed, and ask them to help you obtain a tax map.
Do you happen to live in eastern Suffolk County, New York? If you do, I can get you digital version of the map, as I have access to them for the North and South Forks.

To do this online, find your towns official web site, just type your town and state in the search bar, your towns official site should be at the top of the results.
Most towns have a GIS mapping system, either interactive or in .pdf format. If it's .pdf, it'll do you no good. The interactive GIS maps are zoomable and provide information like property lines, current owner, real worth and taxable worth. The GIS systems can be sort of hard to find on your town's site, so if you are having trouble, add your town and state to your question via the "additional details" option to the right and I'll help you find it.

Yes, Go to www.landregistry.gov.uk You are able to download a copy of the map detailing your boundary. If you need to be specific about things though I must advise the use of a surveyor.
