Look for the replacement bulbs that have a hv or bl behind the part number, like H6054HV vs H6054 or 9006HV vs 9006, There are higher powered light out there but there legality is border line, the will usualy have a disclaimer on the package saying not for on highway use. if you drive a lot of highway and have a four headlamp system you could put the high powered ones in you high beam spot and be ok though as long as you remember to dim them when there is oncoming traffic.
