Have a cleansing routine that uses a neutral cleanser (preferably a creamy one if your skin is not oily), follow with toner and apply moisturizer from Swiss Just such as Mallow lotion. This lotion softens blackheads, soothes skin and is great for all skintypes plus i t leaves skin feeling like its always been very soft.
Once a week use a exfoliating scrub such as the ones made with sugar and fruit it will leave rough and dead skin cells gone and soft smooth skin glowing.
(avoid Isopropyl Myristate, vaseline based products it will clog pores and never use Crisco shortening as some people claim, that is for skin that never breaks out and can withstand the saturated fat from such thing, I dont recommend this even though seems to be popular still amongst some people).

Have blotting oil papers ifyou have oily skin and blot oil throughout the day , then apply a dab of bronzing powder to look "glowing" on yr forehead, tip of nose, tips of ears, on high cheeckbone and collar bone.

Dry Skin

How to Identify It?
Feels tight and dry after cleansing. Cold weather and/or dry air makes it rough and flaky.

Cleanse
A moisturizing cleanser or cleansing bar should leave skin feeling clean, fresh and smooth without dryness. Use a soothing formula twice a day.

Tone
Gently sweep non-alcohol toner over skin with a cotton ball. (If even mild toners dry and irritate, skip this step.)

Moisturize
Opt for a creamy formula rather than one labeled "oil-free." Extra assistance-alpha-hydroxy acids help smooth and exfoliate while ingredients such as vitamin E, aloe and panthenol soothe. (Check labels.) Apply while skin's still damp after cleansing to seal in moisture. But dot and blend; don't glop it on. Skin should feel fresh and moist, not greasy!

Troubleshoot
Use a salicylic acid or benzoyl peroxide cream to spot-treat any blemishes. A moisturizing mask once a week exfoliates and smoothes. All but the creamiest grains over-dry.

Make Up
A moisturizing foundation helps protect and soften and delivers the smoothest coverage. Just add cream blush.

Extra Advice
If skin's super dry, you may prefer to tissue off cleanser rather than rinse.
