well As sad above backuping on DVD is, in my vision,
best solution. The question is left how to do that.
u'll need
1. burning DVD-Rom
2. The proper Software.
well, i hope 1 u have .
As for 2. there is product called True Image(by Acronis)
it allows to save backups directly to DVDs without using 3rd party DVD burning software(for example Nero).
i linked below more information about that product.
good luck :)

Go to http://www.xdrive.com if you dont have a CD burner or a DVD burner.
They give you 5 gigs of free space for a limited time. Upload all your backup into their server and then you can access it from any computer anywhere and just download them back.
Or use a DVD burner and shrink your data. Create a zip file from http://www.winzip.com or http://www.winrar.com and compress your files. Then use the data store backup on your DVD.

Mulitple CD-R media. If you have Easy CD Creator from Roxio, it will automatically span disks. Have about 10 blanks ready and about an hour of time.
Some computers came with the SONIC CD writer program with it's ARCHIVE feature. I recommend using this, but use the CD-R media for good permanent copies.
You might get an External Hard drive. They are under $120 from places like STAPLES.

A DVD will permit 4.7gb of backup. You may also try an online backup source with multiple accounts, a good list can be found from http://www.freewebspace.net/guide/diskstorage.shtml

A DVD burner (internal or external) can burn several GBs worth of data per disk... They're pretty inexpensive these days too.
