I recently got a roommate about maybe 2-3 months ago...but i am ready for her to move out...things just aren't working out...She cooks and leaves the kitchen all messy...dishes in the sink for 2-3 days and i've told her b4 but she is just not getting it...among other things...But she is going thru some personal issues and i just don't know how to tell her that i want her to move out??? We don't have a lease contract it was just month to month...(for that same reason if things didn't work out). I don't want to sound mean or nothing but it's really not working out....

I clean after myself...when i cook i wash MY dishes unlike her...And when i said we don't have a lease i meant that the contract is for month to month not a 6 month lease or year lease.

You just need to tell her its not working out. Your neat and she's messy and its driving you nuts. Would you rather come across as mean or have to live like that in your own home ? You gotta do what you gotta do.

if the dishes are sitting for 2-3 days that means you aren't cleaning either. But in any case just ask her to leave, or if you are more financially stable maybe you can find a new place. Be polite and maybe tell her that you think living together is making it so you two cant get along and you may be better friends in seperate homes

no lease thats crazy, tell her she has an x amount of time to find a new place to live. sounds like your the kind of person who needs to live alone. tell her its not working out and why.

Just buck up and tell her.
Explain what has to change if she is going to stay,, and if it doesn't then tell her up front if she can't change these things she has till the end of the month to find another place and move.

Make her do the work. Don't clean up after her. Tell her that if she dosen't clean up her messes then she won't have a place to live. It may be hard but tell her.

You should really sit her down and tell her whats been bothering you. Tell her if she dont want to change she needs to leave simple as that.
