Tell him you feel it would be better if he found his own place. Say that it has gone for too long and you are no longer comfortable with the situation. Be upfront and don't feel obligated to be too nice because he has stayed way past his welcome. He should have honestly and realistically found his footing by now.

Don't be so nice.

Have him served with eviction papers. You technically CAN'T kick him out of your house if he's been residing there that long. But you CAN serve him with legal papers (delivered by the PoPo) advising him he has 30 days to get out or face severe legal consequences.
It gets even better if he threatens you, but in that case, forewarned is prepared. He might get angry and make threats, then the law is on your side with an express lane to eviction. All you have to do at that point is call the law, explain what he's said or done and file for a restraining order. Since it's YOUR house, HE has to move or else he's violating the order and will be thrown in jail.

Kick him out of your house and tell him to get a life and live some place else like on the street. He shouldn't be living with you since you two have broken up. He should have no right to be living wit you. Tell the loser that you don't want him there anymore....its easy...if he doens't listen kick him in the a** and that he needs to get out of yuor house before the you call the cops. If I were you i would do somethin really mean...meaner than this. But this is could be all the best I can help ya. your ex doesn't need to be eating your food up, peeing in YOUR toilet, drinking the drinks that you buy.

I found out the hard way that it might be harder to get rid of a squater than you think. Here in PA you'd have to file a formal letter of eviction with a local magistrate according to law you might have to give him 30 days notice. And after that you can tell him to leave or you are calling the police. The police will let him collect his things and escort him from your house. I know it's a difficult situation and you just have to stay resolute and not pay attention to the crying or pushy behavior these types will display. It's probably not real, it's just manipulation. Good luck.

Bring some other guy home and don't worry about his feelings. or you can just tell him that it is time for him to go!

There are shelters or hotels that he can go and live at for a while.

I kicked my ex out and now he lives between his moms and sitsters house living off of them. Once a mooch always a mooch!!

Stop giving him a free ride if you don't want him there get him out.

Set his stuff outside, and change the locks before he comes back home. if you are afraid of him (change the locks first) then call the police and have them meet you at your house at a arranged time to let him get his belongings. do not feel sorry for him anymore. your not his mommy. if you are afraid of what other people will think of you (mutual friends, family) DON"T BE.... If they say anything to you just come back with " then you wont have a problem with him staying at your house then, right" C'mon girl...Do not just put your foot down SLAM IT! As well as your door!

You just have to be extremely firm and say GET OUT. Try to get things in writing. Make him sign something that says he has to leave by a certain date. If he doesn't leave, you might be able to get law enforcement involved. Don't let someone take advantage of you, be strong! Good luck.

just kick him out. he's probably an ex for a good reason, and i'm sure the no place to live probably means no job, no money bum right? If he isnt helping to support you and you arent in a relationship there is no reason to continue to allow him to mooch. As long as you allow it he will continue to do it

Since he has been there for so long you need to give him a deadline to move out but it does need to be on paper and he needs to sign it, I would even have it notarized, that way if you change the locks and put his stuff out you will have grounds to do so on paper. You can't just throw him out now he has been there to long and if he takes you to court and tries to sue he will win unless you have him on paper saying when he was supposed to be out.

I will answer it shortly....you aren't married anymore, therefore, you are no longer obliged to let him stay. Ask him nicely to leave. If that doesn't work, I suggest asking not so nicely....actually, not asking...but, forcibly removing him by using law enforcement. It isn't pretty, but, if he is faced with moving or being arrested for trespassing, he will move. I promise.
