It took me 3 1/2 years.
My wife started acting interested in other men and I had to make up my mind that I couldn't live without her. I was right.
But, today is my 26th wedding anniversary. Yea!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

There is no deadline. If a man is reluctant to marry and drags it out for years, that usually means he doesn't want to get married. I'm amazed at how long some wimen will wait, not getting the "hint". You can get a good indication from him by telling him you want to get married. See what he says and go from there. If he wants to spend the rest of his life with you, you'll know.

When you both are ready, then only you are ready..... (you can find this through communication with each other). Ready meaning when you are grown up not in age but mentally as well. There should not be a rule, when you are ready you will know but when is the other half is ready is the question and if he or she loves you then they will tell you when they are. oh man, everyone gets ready at different times so communicate and find out ................

like everything else it depends on the individual. I'd say anything between 3 weeks and 30 years.

There is no deadline. If you are fedup and can't compromise to something then maybe its best to leave.
