is a failure to communicate, some peolple you just cant reach,this is how he wants it, well he gets it..cool hand luke is the the name of the movie..the warden is the one who says it..when paul newman is recaputured and brought back to the stockade...

Yeah, the first answer is wrong. That one starts with, "What we've got here is...a failure to communicate. (Now, some men you just can't reach. So, you get what we had here last week, which is the way he wants it. Well, he gets it. I don't like it any more than you do.)"
And yeah, it's in about 8 zillion movies. I think it's in Labyrinth. And Pee Wee's Big Adventure.

I don't think the answer above is correct. The statement was "What have we got here?" instead of "What we have here is..." Unfortunately the quote is so vague that it's been done in MANY movies. Is that all of the quote you remember?

First name that came to my mind was Jack Nickelson in Batman.. other than that this question is really vauge it has been used in quite a bit of movies.. but like I said first name to pop in my head.
