Meet all the new people you can. Of course you will miss your friends and what is familiar, but remember that there are all kinds of wonderful opportunities awaiting you at your new school. Be open to the potential. It's not an end, it's a beginning.

I know how you feel.. I went to eight different schools in ten years.
It might take some time before you're settled in to your new school but don't despair because in a little while you'll find people who share your interests. Be yourself. If you aren't extroverted, just watch how the others interact and approach the people you find interesting.
Most importantly, don't lose youch with the friends at your old school. Visit them when you can, or if you've moved house and visiting isn't an option then keep in contact over the internet or with phone calls.
Don't worry; it's hard at first but if you try to be positive and give the new school + students a chance, it won't be long before you're enjoying yourself.

I sympathize! This is going to be hard. But.....it could be a growing experience for you.
First, swallow your pride. :) Explain to your parent(s) your dilemma and ask them for your help in having a party. Don't try to go overboard, but keep it low key and casual. Have an icebreaker "get to know you" party and invite whoever you know at all. I have to tell you that some people won't be interested. Those people you aren't going to want to get to know anyway, you just cut to the chase. As far as the others go, you will probably gain a few casual friends. That's a start. They may not stay your friends, but you'll have a starting place, and they'll know people who may become your friends.
Also, what are your interests? For example, if you were active in a youth group at a church, swallow your pride and attend a church and get involved for a few weeks. See what happens.
This won't be easy. But if you throw yourself out there for a few weeks, you will meet people. Just put yourself in healthy situations where you are going to be safe. Unless you want to be involved in an alcohol and party scene, avoid places where alcohol is involved for awhile until you get to know some people first.
Practical advice.....BE SEEN! Go to the post office. Go to the store. Take a walk or bike ride around the neighborhood every day. Go, go, go. People your age will eventually notice you've been around and start asking you about you. People are naturally curious. When they do, act interested! Friends will flow quickly then, if you are a social person. I wish you luck!

I would make new friends with the people in your class...just sit with them and talk and also call your old friends and go see movies or play sports or just hang out after school with your old friends

Go to the Charter School!
No, ahem...well, let's see...just be yourself and make sure to not be so focused on your old school and friends that you shut out all possible opportunities to make new friends.
Also, you could try joining some clubs or other social things like that to get to know more people.
Hope that helped! ^_^

It is difficult when you feel like you don't fit in, but think of it this way: you have a brand new start and this is really a chance for you to reinvent yourself. Even if you like everything about yourself already, you should always have goals for self improvement. Set your goals and live up to them. If you are able to really like yourself, then others will undoubtedly like you as well.
Do NOT compromise your values just to fit in though. It would be obvious to everyone else.

just be yourself and try and make some new friends. Moving now isnt as bad as it used to be. I have recently moved 1,500 miles from everyone i know, and i am coping fine because of things like phone and internet i still talk to them as much as i used to, and with the forms of transpertation we have now it is possible to visit.
