cheap car transportation?

I agree with the other answers that say: "Drive it" but I assume you are already driving one anyway. U-Haul has tow bars you can rent and they have the short trailers you can use to tow a front wheel drive car. As far as I know, there is no cheap way of doing it... you're probably looking at $300-$400 for a one way rental regardless of where you rent it.

OR... you could check out the flea markets and see if you can pick up a used tow bar for $25 or so.

Ground freight. Find a trucking company that handles this type of work ... go to Freight listing in your yellow pages or on-line ... almost any company you call will know the name of a reputable carrier if they can't ship the car themselves. If you're driving a moving truck, the companies have trailers available for you to pull your car behind you.

grey hound bus is cheap....

but I heard this the other day, This company called the Big Bus...is only $15.00 one way to certain location....

i know they have one here in Ohio that goes to Indiana, NY, PA, and Michigan.....


Check into it....cause $15.00 is the cheapest!
