Your fine. You are just one of the lucky ones who won't show until later on. First you feel fat and are wishing to fit into maternity clothes then around the 4th or 5th month you start really looking pregnant instead of fat.
You won't really feel the baby until the 5th month and even then it's questionable. It's a slow progression. Have patience. I know it's exciting with the first and you just want everything to be perfect. Everyones pregnancy is different and it's hard to predict how yours will progress. You might not show for a long time.

You are just being paranoid. At my first pregnancy, I did not start showing until I was seven months, nobody believed that I was pregnant, and with my second, I started showing at about 5 1/2 months, almost six months, therefore, you are very early to show.. Some girls do tend to show at an early stage, but you have to remember that every belly is different and every woman is different as well. Feeling OK, is a normal sign, as your body usually has the worst symptoms during the first three months of pregnancy, after, your body is usually getting use to the changes and you should be feeling better... What you should do is do light exercises, like walking the treadmill for like 30 minutes each day., that will help you when you are in labor., and you will feel much more energetic... good luck..

Your fine...your the way you should be. im 19 weeks along and up till about 2 weeks ago...i thought i had a tummy...then i didnt....then i thought it was showing a little...then not. I think its like its growing out...but up also...so it evens out. Until its basically all UP and just goes OUT. haha. I've been told by my doctor that most woman dont start to show until about 16 weeks and after. At that point is when the baby really starts to grow the most. About 2 oz every weeks. Just remember that severe cramping is NOT a good sign and needs medical attention immediately. Drink LOTS of water....they are serious about that! IM starting to get used to the bloated feeling.....you have fun with the stretch pants and such things that dont restrict your tummy. Dont try to squeeze into those jeans after some time. Thats all the advice I can give at this point...Good Luck!

My first pregnancy, I didn't show until I was 5 months along. It just depends on your body type and genetics. Enjoy this time cause once you start showing, you feel like there is a HUGE bowling ball stuck in your stomach and you cannot do anything. It will happen. You are getting into your second trimester which is when morning sickness is suppose to stop and the chance of a miscarriage is reduced greatly. Just sit back and enjoy, once the baby comes, you will have an entirely new set of concerns.

I didn't start showing until about my 20th week. I was tired at the beginning but I never got morning sickness the whole 9 months. If you are worried something is wrong call your doctor. That's why they are there and they'd be happy to answer any questions you have. Plus, it's better to talk to a professional then it is to sit home and worry about it. Good Luck! My son is 2 1/2 months old now and I love everything about being a first time mommy!!

When a pregnant woman begins to show depends on how her body is built. If you're tall with a long torso, you have more room to carry a baby without showing much right away. Shorter women usually show sooner since there is less room between your rib cage and pelvis to hold the baby. 12 Weeks is typically a little soon to expect to show. I was showing by 14 weeks, but I am very short and have a very short torso. Many women don't start wearing maternity clothes until they're well into their 4th or 5th month.

There is nothing wrong with that at all. My wife didnt show for a long time and when she was 8 months pregnant, people were shocked that she was that far along. She has suddenly gotten larger here in the last couple of weeks of the pregnancy (baby is due on the 24th), and the baby is going to be over 8 pounds, so it obviously was not a problem. Consider yourself lucky!!

I have 3 children and didn't show with any ofthem till the 6th month, (about 26 weeks), i only put on about 17lbs with each child. Others thought I wasn't expecting, then about 27 or 28 weeks I'd start to show. The babies grew fast, by the 38th week I was ready to explode, all of my babies were healthy, happy and beautiful, Sarah 6lbs 11oz (now 24 yrs old, college grad w/ good job) Nichole 7lbs, 11 ozs. (starts collgeg in fall, honor student) & Big Ben (8lbs he's only 10, but I expect great things from him also!)
Eat lots of healthy foods, meat, fresh veggies & fruit. Rest lots, and everything will grow in time. Enjoy, this is one of the greatest experiences you'll ever have.

Don't get upset. As long as your Dr thinks you are progressing well, don't worry. Now that you are in you're 12th week, you will begin to feel better. You are comming out of your 1st trimester, and you will not be as tired as before. I used the book What to Expect When Expecting. Its a great book and tells you what to expect each month. I suggest getting it and it will help calm your nerves. Also remember, some women, gain the most weight in thier 3rd trimester. Some go from small bump to having a big round belly by the 9th month.

I didn't show until I was 5 months pregnant. And even then, I wasn't showing. The only reason I was, was because I had lost weight throughout my pregnancy, so I ate a lot of fatty foods so I could have a pregnant belly. (I don't advise doing this. When I gained weight so rapidly, I got REALLY bad stretch marks. And I mean, worse than anyone I know).
If your doctor hasn't said anything about your baby being ill, then you are fine. He or she may mention that you haven't gained weight or started showing, but it's NOT A BAD THING. Trust me. You will be fine. :)
