Pet names are nice. My husband and I are down to name calling not pet names anymore. I envy others who still feel a close connection. Hope you never lose it. As you get older (after retirement) sometimes loving names mean a lot more than anything else. (Sometimes it's all you can muster). Anyway, I guess love is still in the air.......somewhere.

This one made me laugh. I use to call my wife a ***** which relates to a dog and also to your question of pet names. I think I use to call her Honey in our younger days but that turned into Mom in later years relating her to the children. I believe it's just a common thing with married couples and single couples too that we give them a Nick Name relating to how we feel.

We have so many private names for eachother, along with the typical honey, sweetie, etc. I think pet names are cool, because it reinforces your private bond and makes you have something inside to laugh about.

We call each other all the sappy annoying (to others) names like baby and honey, nothing too out of the ordinary

My b/f calls me Momma. At first I didn't like it, but it grew on me. We just had a baby 12 days ago, so now it fits me better.:) I call him my Sweet William because he picked me some wild flowers one day called Sweet Williams and his name is William and he is SO sweet. I just love him to death! :)

I call him daddy! Which started out to teach the kids mommy & daddy but It stuck and I call him "MY Robert" and everyone notices and they will call him the same to laugh at him!

yes he calls me chiquita or baby i do the same chiquito or baby will being callling thies ever since we were dating know we are married. he also calls me mommy and i call him dady since we have 3 yr old child

im his lil furby and he is gator to me
when we met online his name was gatordude7@webtv and so i only called him gator and when the furbys came out i had a name on webtv with the name furby in it
