My system display goes off after some hours of working, after that even power and reset button will not work. Only i have to off the main power. Before this happens, some time i hear some streaky noise from my CPU. I have my cables inside the CPU properly arranged.But why is this sound and crash of system taking place. I have got my system 3.5 years ago till then i did not change any of its component.
What may be the problem i make sure my RAM is 100 % fine. Speed of the system is also fine. Can some body help

Check your power management settings in control panel. Sometimes a computer is set to enter a power save mode and there is a specific keyboard cammand that wakes it up. My IBM does it all the time and the combination is alt-F4. I don't know your brand or even if I'm right but it's worth a look.

check your fans. one of them may not be working anymore. if you say the sound is coming from the CPU, it may be the CPU fan dying.

check if your power supply still good, sometimes, if it overheats it shuts it down itself.
