Oh, definitely the bird. If I was the second mouse then I would not only be mourning the demise of a good friend, but I would also have to climb over his little corpse for dinner. All around too sad. I think I would rather just get up a little earlier than sacrafice a comrade.

I would totally be the second mouse. Worms are slimy and wiggly and hard to pull out of the ground. Cheese on the other hand is delicious. I would go for the cheese anyday.

The early bird that gets the worm, because the 2nd mouse that gets the cheese has to pass over the body of his buddy....the one who gave his life.
How would you feel if you bud gave his life, so you could eat. That piece of cheese would stick in my throat.
