Warm water compresses. Take a washcloth, run it under the hot water tap, wring it out and place over your eye with your eye closed. Change every half hour or so. Also, throw out all of your eye make up and buy new.

Get Rid Of A Stye

2016-10-02 03:04:08 · answer #2 · answered by ? 4 · 0 0

I just got rid of one in a day about a month ago and what I did was slept with a hot rag on my eye and I got up to run it under hot water maybe four or five times during the night. Just lying down and keeping it close worked for me because there was no light on my eyes or nothing and all I had to do was keep my eye shut for 24 hours. Eventually, the next day I did not have the sty anymore. It may not get rid of it but the swelling will definitely go down.

I used to use a little boric acid in some very warm water and soak the outer eye often with the solution. Good Luck ( if you don't have any boric acid, just try some very warm soaks to the eye with a little pressure..several times a day where the pustule is)

First put some neosporin on the stye. Then get a warm compress and keep it on the eye and off the eye alternating every hour. i.e. on for an hour, off for an hour, then on for another hour, then off for another hour, etc.

You can apply a warm compress to it to help it speed up, but your chances of getting rid of it in a day are nil.
