Right click on the area that your toolbar once was. This should give you the option to pick the kind of toolbars that you want to see. The "standard buttons" one should give your back button, etc.

Right click the tool bar to select or deselect tool bars. Click on View/Toolbars/Customize in the Menu to add or remove standard functions like 'refresh', history, home etc..

At the top of Internet Explorer, click View, then look and see if your Toolbars, status bar, etc., are all checked, if they aren't, then check them and see if that fixes things.

depends on what your browser is, if its internet explorer, click on view-toolbars then click on standard buttons to put a check beside it

go where the bar would beR click and lock it in place. if not drag it up than lock it.

uninstall inernet explorer and reinstall it. before that please run a standard scandisk.
download mozilla. you can block images from unwanted sites. and other stuff, skins.
