I have just closed my account. I am mad at them, especially at the dishonest people on Ebay.
What is your opinion/experience? have you always got bargains?
Could you live without Ebay?

when i first got my pc i was obsessed with ebay i spent over £500.00 on it now i hate it you get ripped off people say they haven't recieved your payments or goods don't arrive i hate it and feel it should be reported to the trading standerds for a number of things (fake goods ,etc etc) i don't know one person who has had just good experiences with ebay

the only way to win on ebay is if you are buying chances are that as a seller you will lose money bcos you will probably not get ne wer near the true value unless it is a rare item that you are selling. example rare vinyl album true value 300 to 350 pounds was selling on ebay for less than 15 pounds

I'm not at all impressed with Ebay. I put two items on to sell and neither reached their reserve and I still got billed for it. Still can't work out whether that was right or not.

I love e-bay. I buy lots of stuff from there. I ordered my daughters prom dress 11 days before the prom (that's the notice she gave me) and it was in Hong Kong. I e-mailed them and told them my delimma and they made sure I had the dress in time. I've had great experiences with them for 2 years now.

I lived without it for ages...but would not want to do so any more! Maybe I am a lucky one...but have never been ripped off or cheated in any way.

ebay is awesome..but then there are too many ppl takin advantage nowadays..but u can get some bargains..just try not to get scammed!!

Some people have made money there
BUT
I almost lost my shirt with their high listing fees with items that didn't sell..
