I have a lot of data in my Treo 600 address book, To Do lists, and Memo pad. I want to to get a new PDA and I was looking at the Treo 700 W. I don't know how to transfer all of my data to the new PDA. Can this be done through Outlook? Is there another method?

you will need to syncronize your Treo 600 (a model that did not come with bluetooth installed if I am correct) to Outlook on your computer. That will get all your addresses and notes from your memo pad, as well as your To Do list, onto your computer. From that point, you will have to then syncronize your Windows Mobile based PDA (be it the Treo 700W or another PDA phone as it seems that's what you are looking for) to Outlook, bringing over all your contacts and your To Do list, as well as your notes (though they may need to change to a Notepad format if I recall correctly). If you wanted, you could spend hours transfering your address book through infrared, but it would be far too time consuming to really be bothered with. And unfortunately Palm systems don't "speak" the exact same "language" as Windows Mobile systems, so simply transfering through a media card would not likely produce the desired results. Hope that helps somehow.

You should be able to do it through Outlook. Back up your old PDA into outlook, then install the software for the new PDA and synch that with your outlook data. If you don't want to continue to synch with outlook after that just reconfigure your synch program. I have an old version which you have to reinstall; not sure if that's still the case.
The idea of moving a lot of your stuff to your card is good too but that won't get everything--put your games and programs on the card.

You can transfer all that things by transfer it first to your memory card. I suggest you use the card that have big memory size such as 1 gig. Take it out from your Treo 600 and insert it into your new Treo 700 W. Or you can try to transfer them through bluetooth.

A way to do that is synchronize the Palm to a PC with Outlook, synchronize and copy all file to the PC, then unplug the Palm, plug the new PDA and using the synchronization software from the new device synchronize again to Outlook that will do the trick
