Start by visiting the real estate board of commissioners website:
http://www.trec.state.tx.us/education/default.asp

Under the education tab at the top it will list the education requirements and approved schools.

If you are still interested, I suggest you meet with someone at a firm you are contemplating working for and they will explain the process to you more in depth.
