Yes. I found it engrossing. One of the things I appreciate about Card's novels is that his characters, though somewhat idealized, are fully human. Even the 'villians' are presented as having valid, 'good' reasons for opposing the heros. I appreciate Card's refusal to demonize anyone or anything at the same time he unflinchingly presents the often very negative results of their best intentions.

And besides all this, Card is a terrific storyteller. I recommend any of his books--I've read most except the Alvin Maker series.

Yes! I just put up a question about it. It's possibly the best book I've ever read. Such simple, clear, penetrative prose. It's the first of a long series, but I"ve been satisfied with just the first. I did hear they were going to massacre it into a film, but nothing yet thank god. It was such a sad, brutal, efficient, honest look at the brutality, innocence and deception of childhood, and the traits that children and adults share. It is, I have decided, my favourite book.

Loved it. It was much better than the other Ender books. If you can, find the copy with the author's introduction. Card describes a letter he got from a group of gifted children - that's exactly why I loved the book.

Yes, and I loved it.

I didn't like the sequels so much, but Enders Game has a very unique plot to it and honestly I believe that it's written fairly well.

Hope that this helps.

Loved it. Imagine Harry Potter set in a science fiction universe - complete with allying friends, scornful classmates, and Quidditch.

Well, not quite Quidditch, but a team game none the less.

It is actually quite good. Gripping novel. Good characterization. Interesting twists. You should take a chance and read it, if you like Sci Fi.
