Sorry KTR - You might want to look at a few history books yourself rather than regurgitating last nights liberal hate spew from the liberal ignorance fest at starbuks.. Entire states - such as New York opposed the American Revolution. The Battle of Kings Mountain had exactly one member of the military who was British in the forces fighting against the colonist. The rest were "Americans". I guess that's were you liberals get your start.

Funny that the GOP and 99.5% of Republicans NEVER served in the Armed Forces I don't think you or any of the many YELLOW Republicans can claim in any way there patriotic. When you become a VET of the military you may speak about patriotism, until then STFU because you and the other so called Conservatives in this country have NO clue what a true patriot is. I guess your one of the patriots that feel Rush with his BUTT BOIL is a patriot. How laughable you people are to the true patriots of this country like the men and women of our armed forces that have made the ultimate sacrifice of their life. I was wondering about the reasoning behind that statement. If Descent = Patriotism then Ascent = Treason?
The problem is how do you Descend without first Ascending.
It's quite a pickle.

I wonder if you know that Thomas Jefferson was reffering to the little rebelion that led to the formation of this country when he said that “Dissent is the highest form of patriotism.”

Go back to the history books my friend, this was stated in virtually the same form prior to the American Revolution and prior to the Declaration of Independence.
