i'm supposed to sport a "jamaican" influenced dress, to a party,,, i'm really short-5'3".....i need a jamaican-ie, reggae-ie dress which will also make me look taller.....if u have any ideas on what i could wear pls tell me

Sure! If you need a jamaican type dress, look for a long dress that hits the floor, and has a small ruffle at the bottom. Look for shorter, poofier sleeves and an empire waist. This will lengthen the bottom half of your body and it even has a slimming effect. If you have a skin tone similar to Beyonce, try an orange or coral color.

short height usually have narrow shoulders, must expose those shoulders, try halter top dresses, its up to you if you want it backless or not. dont forget to shimmer those shoulders. its reggae-jamaican, its kinda have a very colorful and bold designs, and its kinda have a light fabric. choose those with vertical or diagonal lines or orienation of designs or details. you have a very good complexion that can go with any color. since its some kinda jamaican-reggae, well why not sport a fitted halter top backless with black, red, green and yellow diagonal lines, it can have an uneven seam or a diagonal seam from half thigh to mid calf. about the foot, well a bright yellow or green or red flipflops will do. dont forget to shimmer those skin!

something at least two inches above the knee and high heels. The girls are right...it's all about the shoes. High heels elongate the calves giving you the illusion of height.
I think a coral color would look great with your skin tone. Beyonce is also known to wear a lot of gold colored outfits and they look fantastic.

you should wear a mini dress. That makes your legs look longer. If you wear solid colors it can also help. since u are Beyonce's skin tone wear red,black, or a dark blue.

Short ppl should not wear long skirts or dresses, it makes us look frumpy. Short dress, black. Ties around neck or spaghetti strap, wedged shoes. Good luck.
