I can not sleep without a fan...just wondering how many others are like that.

I like fans. Nothing like a good blow all night.

yes I do, I have the fan on almost all the way, it is a 4 speed fan and I put it on number 3 so I can feel the air moving all night long.
I use the fan all year long too.
and the fan is on even when I have the air conditioning on ..if the fan is not on, I can not sleep, or at least I have a junkie night sleep..
and it is not the noise, because it is silent, it is the air blowing down on me that counts.
my mother keeps telling me that I must have been royalty in a past life, and had servants fanning me all night long....

Even without really feeling the difference it makes me comfortable to know that something is trying to make the room chill a bit.
Sleeping with a fan pointing directly at you must be pretty unhealthy. It would be better to have it pointed at a wall and bounce/scatter the wind (unless ofcourse it's a ceiling fan)

It's very loud and I have to turn it off. I would sleep with a fan. I get way too hot in the middle of the night.

I sleep with two huge box fans!! I cant sleep without them! I also have to ceiling fan going, that has a particular noise as well. I think it has something to do with being in your mothers tummy as a baby and the noises in there. It makes us feel safe and secure!

that's amazing, I was just talking about this today. I need to have a fan on even in the middle of winter for the same reason as everyone else. I need the soft hum and the air circulating. I can't believe how many others need it too!

During the summer time I do, but during the winter months, I just open the window a bit and it keeps the room really cool. There's nothing like snuggling under a warm blanket on a cold winter's night.

I'm just like you, when i go to a hotel or something and I see that i'll have to try and sleep with out a fan I feel uneasy.

I need a fan, air conditioning or a window and a breeze or I just do not sleep well at all.
