I am very interested in a Seat Altea Stylance year 2004. I would like to know if it is a good buy. What is your experience with it? Any problems?

I have the Altea 2litre TDI sport. The Altea is very good value for money and very well built as it is based on a VW Golf Plus They are cheaper than a Golf because when buying a Golf you are only paying for a badge. If however you don't need the extra space from the Altea you are better buying a Golf or a Leon because as these are smaller cars they would drive better. Faults are few but the heating system is over complicated and forward visibility is poor due to the thick "A" pillars but this is a fault shared with other MPV's. Diesel engines are a better bet as you will get 50mpg whereas you would only get 35 from a petrol engine.I have owned my car for just under a year and have found it very reliable and had no problems at all. I can recommend these cars.

yeah its prety good! i would say its quite hard to park, due to the vision out the back window! but i am a woman, so i probably wouldn't consider the same things important. it deffinatly drives well!
