actually the odds are about 60/40 that you'll have a girl -- same as for any pregnancy. That you've had 4 boys means you've beaten the odds so far, but having had boys before doesn't affect the odds of having a boy/girl for the next one :)

The chances are 50-50, as you can only have a boy or a girl ideally. However, if I can remember right some cultures say having a boy or a girl depends on your lifestyle, how the act is done and the strengh of the medium (acid or base) of the swim of the sperms.
Lifestyle
What you eat has an influence for example eating too much salt will favour boys.
The act itself
The dog style favours boys while the male lying on top of the female favours females.
The sperm swim
The normal vaginal fluid is acidic in nature and favours the swim of male sperms. When a woman reaches orgasm, she produces fluid that is basic in nature and hence favours the swim of the female sperms.

If its the same father then I would rate your chances as 80% for it being a boy. There may be biological reasons for you having only boys so far or just plain luck. i think a 20% chance for a girl seems about right.

50/50. Your partner determines the sex of the baby as your chromosomes are all female. The man carries both male and female sperm.
There are a lot of old wives tales about conceiving girls, but take them with a pinch of salt.
My husbands brother has 6 boys!

I would have to say chances are pretty good. If you already have 4 boys, another one is probably going to happen again. It all boils down to your partner. The man's sperm determins what the sex of the baby will be.

That you will never know, but if you are planning on having another one and you are searching for that little girl, have some fun, go to "Chinese Birth Chart" there, you can plan and predict the gender for your next baby... Now, remember, this is just for fun, but one never knows, there are people that swear by it . . . Good Luck.. there are a few of them, so make sure that you do it a couple of times to make sure that you get the correct month when you should attempt to conceive to try to get your little girl..

Who knows? I have an aunt and uncle with 5 boys, but I also know a girl who has 6 older brothers! Guess it would just be a surprise (or maybe not a surprise?)!
