I haven't seen my Dad for years.

Personally I find it to be a bit awkward

One thinks there should be lots of other occasions to express your respect love etc. to this person

Let the father's day stay between father and child

it's not completely inappropriate either. It could be cute too, but maybe it's better to get cute with other occasions ;)

good luck

No, Let the Father's Day card be from him to his father. It is about their bond, not you. If you care alot about his dad, get your own card and possibly a small gift. Wait until you are married to sign both names.

yes if you no his dad quite well and you get on with each other well then its fine for your boyfriend to include your name on his dads fathers day card

If you feel like a part of his family and if you are both comfortable with it, then yes! If you see his father as your fatherly figure, you could just get a thank you card and put a wee message in it for him. Just from you.

Yes. Be a team, if you have things to deal with that involve your Dad a third person is good

Are you close to his dad? Do you see a future with this guy? If so than put your name on it too.

If its ok with him, then let him go ahead, I am sure the guy loves you so much to even feel free to let his dad know about you in one way or the other.

If you two are in a committed relationship and you have gotten to know his dad, sure, it's a very nice gesture.
