Americans are so mobile, that we would litterally be at war with our children, grandchildren, sisters brothers. There is no dividing line to separate...Distances are a matter of hours, rather than months.

Never. The conditions that precipitated the American Civil War of 1861-1865 no longer exist. It is doubtful that other conditions serious enough to provoke a civil war in the United States could ever happen again in this day and age.

Even if it did ever happen, how could a faction rise up and fight our Military, they would be crushed. It isn't like the Civil war before technology, things were pretty even militarily. It would have to be a guerrilla type war.

I think it could happen if things continue to spiral. It will be those who have and those who have not. In a small way, it is starting as we speak. People are going out and stealing copper wire and getting themselves killed because they are taking it from live electrical wiring. The more desparate people become the worse it will get. The "Ultra Rich" don't give a damn, they can lock themselves up in their vacation homes in Barbados or somewhere.

never.....the ultra rich will not let that happen. they have too much to loose. they would actually rather give us a few pennies before that happens.
