First of all the US aren't out by a longshot. Second, what the hell is rounder? Third, I'm tired of all you British sissy's, or whatever country you're from, dissing us. In the past we may not have cared about soccer or had a good team, but now we do. Take 4 years ago in the last World Cup for example. US makes the Q-Finals, further than your precious England. And lost to the eventual runner-up by one goal in a game that most people agree we should've won.

Well they're about as "out" as the French are at the moment - you can't tell, they may well win their second match!
Rounders is quite fun actually - basically baseball without all the helmets and protection. But it's typically seen as a game kids play here in the UK. ;)

I can tell you know nothing about the sport. The US is not eliminated from the tournament. And yes, we will see the team in South Africa 2010 in the next World Cup. The US team is a good team, just because they had a bad day doesn't mean anything.

rounders is the English version of baseball. But it's not played over here much because it's crap.
And i'd like to see the England rugby team play any American football team with their big body pads and helmets to protect them.

rounders is the real name for baseball. really soccer is a girly game too, so many over paid primadonnas. Cant believe the amount of hype from grown men over a silly competition

Err, Yimjim, I think you'll find England made the quarter-finals at the 2002 World Cup too, so we actually got as far as the US! Only difference is, we lost to the eventual WINNERS!
Oh, and the US aren't out yet. They've only played one game. Give it a week, then they'll be out! Only joking...make it 2 days until they lose to Italy!

See the problem is they battered each others brains to mush playing redneck games like American 'Football' and NASCAR, and now their gene pool lacks any sporting talent that also has some semblance of a brain. The World Cup is alas, not even a dream.

I hope not, I don't like soccer, the United States doesn't need any more athletes with head trauma running around... we have enough problems with our athletes that wear helmets...
