I want to use the "SmackBook" or the dual screen on Macicntosh Laptops. My questions is will this cause a malfunction with the built in sensor in the HDD? Also, when I carry my Mac will it continously switch screens? since I will be consisntenly moving?

I doubt that the HDD sensor will suffer any harm. It senses almost all movement of the machine. No idea if it will continuously switch screens if you carry it while it is running. Maybe there is a sensitivity setting that will minimize this.

I don't know but I wouldn't treat any laptop like that. Generally it's not a good idea to smack around a laptop (and consequently the hard drive).
