I do listen to public radio every now and then...It's nice to get the opinion of others every now and then. Gets you thinking and it's nice to listen to the same boring entertainment news all the time. I want o hear about real news

I'm going to say I enjoy National Public Radio. I listen all the time and I find the variety of topics a breath of fresh air every day. They will certainly react to any breaking news (9-11) with a focus that brings perspective. I also like the fact that they "correct" errors in their reports on-air. If a listener finds and error or disagrees with the reporter he/she can send them a letter and it is read on the air. I like organizations that admit they are not perfect. All Things Considered is my drive home program. I want to learn something new every day....and with NPR I have a much better shot at it than listening to two local no-brain's screaming about the mayor.

Yes, I like hearing debates, because people bring up good points for both sides; and unlike on television forums, they don't get into a shouting match as much, the hosts don't allow it. The main reason I listen though is the late night jazz they play, it's the only time it is on the radio out here in western Kansas.

Yes I listen to them occassionally.
I like Garrison Keilor.
But I turn them off during pledge week.
Public Radio is affiliated with some mysterious group call "Zion Communications". They refused to give me info on who they are. Zionist Jews I suspect. They certainly don't need my money.
Sometimes they are entertaining. But most shows are about Jews who have ripped off other peoples information to write a useless book, hype it on Public rado, and line their pockets.
The Wisconsin "progressives" from Madison are total suckers for anything Public radio spews. These are the most ultra ultra left wing whacko carpetbaggers in the Midwest. They are psuedo intellectual eliteists who are quick to label you as "trailer house trash Christians".

I live in Los Angeles and listen to KPFK Pacifica Radio 90.7 FM which is listener funded. They provide the real news and great, eclectic music. They are not controlled by or obligated to any corporations. They provide information that we never hear on corporately sponsored radio. KPFK helps lift the proverbial "wool" off our eyes. Listen for yourself and see what I'm talking about. There's something there for everyone. Take care ~

Yes, I listen to public radio because it is one way to just get information and not have it interpreted by a biased news reporter. It is aggravating to have a reporter interpret or explain what someone said. I am quite capable of doing that on my own.

Yes. I live in MN and the public radio station plays a lot of local bands. I think that is great.

I listen to public radio in the car. I like to have tunes when I travel and it helps to keep me awake. I like to sing along with the music.
