WOW! The purpose of this question was to see what kind of philanthropic answers I would get. I wanted to restore my faith in humanity. The first poster gives us a great example of what is wrong with the world today. If she had a million dollars, F the rest of you, she is keeping it! As are quite a few of you. Great job folks! The world relies on the kindness and caring of others. I feel sorry for those who have ever been kind or caring towards you. You obviously would not return the favor.

I would give it to the reputable organizations I deal with that help the poorest of the poor of the world (women and children) and feed people in my country (U.S.) who are poor or fallen on bad times, and programs that help abused women and children.

These folks I mentioned that are in need don't have the resources to help themselves much of the time and must depend on the kindness and efforts of those that "have" to give to them.

If we don't help, they don't get what they need to live at the most basic level.

If I had a million dollars I would try to make peoples little dreams come true. I would of corse keep some to live on- but I think it would be very important to share that excitement and joy. So, whatever I could do to share the love I would. So- I guess the answer is a lot of people- strangers, family and friends.

My boss because she's the most amazing woman I've ever met. She has a husband who is dying from lung disease, a disabled son who requires CONSTANT care and she is always positive. She never complains about ANYTHING life throws at her.

I'd love to see her be able to stay home with her family and NOT worry about money.

I would give my mom enough money so that she wouldn't have to work one more day in her life.
I would buy my wife a new car, and my daughters as well.
I would take a trip with my wife Cindy.
I would give my brother enough money to build a new home.

Because I love them. Rick

Give it to a reputable charity that helps children. We adults have had a chance to live a productive and fulfilling life. Whether we have or not could or could not be our own doing. Give those children a chance that we have.

If I had a million dollars, I would give it all to my parents. My mom was just diagnosed with cancer and that would pay for most of her treatment if not all.

I'd share it amongst my family, but give the most to my grandmother for carrying me up a hill and down a hill to take me to pre-school!

Why would I give it to someone. I would keep it for myself and buy myself a new car, a new house, and many other things that I am in need of.
