Actually, light does need a medium: darkness.

actually to see light you need particles to bounce it off....
for example if you have a room filled with particle free air and let the sunlight in you wouldnt be able to see it.
light can travel through space or any medium. Like i said you need particles to actually see it
whereas gravity doesn't need a medium it is a force between two bodies by virtue of their existence. It exists between humans, humans and objects, planets, etc.

no light is an electromagnetic phenomana meaning it needs space time to exist too. even to propagate. n dat's why we still dont know wat happens to it near a black hole whare space time ccollapses to a point.
