u probably are not making a qualitative preparation but only spend a lot of time preparing .that is not the way.Study with concentration and even if u study for a shorter while and surely you will be more cofident of your performance and will get good results.

Do you have test anxiety? Many people have that and it really wrecks the test results.
Try this on the next exam; read the questions, answer those you really know the answers to and pass by the ones you are not sure of, then go back and answer the ones you weren't sure of. This method works, I used it and what happens is your memory is jogged by answering the ones you are sure of the answer.
Also, look at your study skills. Do you wait until the last minute to study? Cramming does not work. You have to review and review as the class goes along. Ask questions when you don' t understand something to get that straight right away.
Study with someone who is a good student, they may be able to show you some of their study tips.

it depends what you revise from. The only thing that i find helps is going through past papers. Last year I did on average about 5 times less than your average joe for my exams, but I got A's :s I think maybe because you think of quantity when thinking about the amount of time you revised. It's not, it's quality of revision.
Also, maybe you're expecting to do really well but you'll never be satisfied if you expect 100 p/c for every exam, which is a good thing!

you felt unsatisfied of your results or grades because there something in you that wants to have more.for example, your mind is telling you that the grades you just aimed is not good enough for you.but that's exactly was the best.and its good for you to have frustrations about that coz it keeps you strive hard and give more perseverance to do your very best.keep it up!and be contented when you are already on top.because too much is not right.and as for me also,if you still dont get good marks though you have tried your best, maybe its not your luck.you should be more patient and keep on trying, until you succeed.

Perhaps you could be focusing on the wrong things and missing the major stuff. Do not get bogged down with things. Organize yourself. Charts, color coding-sometimes it helps.
