we like to regard ourselves as haughty beings,,,gods even,,,
so when we'r conforntd w somewhat lowly functions we laugh,,,,
humor occurs when u hav an incongruity

well you will know the answer to your question after you read this ........A man worked hard all day digging the garden and felt very stiff and sore.
His wife fluttered about him, pleased with the amount of work he had done and anxious to get him to do some more.
"Have a nice soak in the bath and I'll bring you a drink," she suggested smiling.
"Good idea," says the husband looking forward to being waited on
He's in the bath when she comes in with a nice glass of Scotch which he accepts happily
"If there's anything else you'd like just call," says the wife as she leaves the bathroom.
When she got halfway along the landing the husband relaxes completely and lets off an enormous long fart in the bath.
A few minutes later, despite it being a very warm Summer's evening, the wife comes in with a fluffy bed warmer
"What the heck is that for?" asks the husband snappily
"Oh Darling," says the wife, flustered, "I thought I heard you say, "Whataboutahottawaterbottle,","

Its a funny noise!!! It goes deeper than you'd imagine.. My 11 month old son laughs his tail end off when he hears a noisy fart. This is before anyone else in the room laughs, mind you! Then again, that could be trained into him, he's been watching me for the last 11 months ;)

It's the nature of society we live in, we have been brought up in a culture that has created a great taboo against using these words, so when they are used it creates something to laugh about.

I don't know. (sticks hand under arm pit and makes clever farting sound, while singing "Wind beneath my wings" very off-key)

don't be so serious. It can be funny and/or gross. Most likely because its a personal subject but everyone has to do it so everyone has experience.

Ha ha ha ha this question is funny.........I think it is because those funtions make the funniest noises when they exit the body.
