Yes, of course.

Although I'm not a huge fan of "Art rock," (some people call it "mood rock"), I still dig many of their songs.

Dark Side Of The Moon, and Wish You Were Here are my faves.

It says something about the album when it has been in the top 100 selling albums every year since it was released in 1975. That's impressive. It's also pretty cool that they have the only movie made from an album instead of an album being a soundtrack from a movie[i.e The Wall]. And, to give credit where credit is due, the great sound of Dark Side is also a result of the engineering ability of Alan Parsons--a great artist in his own right.

I was a fan of Pink Floyd BEFORE their breakthrough album, "Dark Side of the Moon". Have all their stuff on vinyl and CD. Saw them live in concert in Milwaukee while I was in grad school, before "The Wall". Great stuff!

But why is this in the chemistry group?

One of my fav bands. Yeah I agree, very good album before sleep! Just put an earphone, listen in your bed and you'll know what I mean!
This apart, Dark side... is undoubtly one of the best rock concept album of all time, indeed the biggest selling rock album ever! So, hail the Floyd and hopefully we'll see them re-unite as a band for real in a near future!
