in addition to yahoo, google, or microsoft satellite mapping services you can try zillow.com. you'll not only get a satellite view but the estimated value of your house and the other houses in your neighbrhood.

Well I don't know where you live, for a start. i'm from the UK and multimap.com is quite good. Also try earth.google.com However, they do not allow a good view of the house, and are a bit old. If you're looking for a good quality one, I think it's poss to pay money (My Granma's got one of her old house) although I'm not sure where you can do that!!! Hope this helps!
