Yes, they can work, but it depends on their personality and communication skills. You have to explain your feeling and wants without expecting or demanding. You have give a lot... I mean a lot. My mom remarried to someone from a different culture and so did I. It's a lot more work than marrying from your own culture, but it can also very rewarding to live within the same house and have two cultures.

Like any marriage, personaliy, communication, and give and take are all very important. I don't think culture should make a difference.

Good luck.

Yes, if both partners respect and learn the others culture then there shouldn't be a problem and if that shouldn't work then just having respect for it should be just fine.

Depends on the culutre. And if they want to insist on sticking to it ridgidly or not... Why not cherrie pick the good bits both of you like and stuff the rest... you Don't have to stick to any culture or tradition or religion... Why not make up your own?

Yes and No
A lot of times they do because you learn so much about eachother and thats why you wanna be with that other person...but sometimes if you get married for the wrong reasons then you get screwed up the *** because you realize that you don't really wanna be with that person!

They do affect the relationship. Especially later in life. I know because I am in an international marriage.

like any other, needing plenty of comprimise. It's hard though. My mate is italian and with a nigerian. she finds it very difficult to fit in with his culture. especially as he reckons the woman should do the cooking etc. bit suspicious about that myself, lol. x

DEPENDS, like if you are in love or not with the other person.

marriage really requires adjustments from both sides. it is upto you, if you can make it work.
